Bharat ko Jano – Inter House Quiz

The halls of MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul reverberated with enthusiasm during the ‘Bharat ko Jano’ competition. The competition tested students on their knowledge of Indian history, culture, geography, and current affairs. This helped students to learn more about their country and to develop a sense of pride in their heritage and unfolded as a voyage of discovery, inviting young minds to delve into the essence of Bharat – the nation that breathes within their hearts.

Organized to test our basic knowledge of India, the competition had us reach for a special book published by Bharat Vikas Parishad, which became our guiding star on this knowledge-enhancing odyssey. Designed to gauge fundamental knowledge about India, the competition guided participants toward a designated resource – a special publication by Bharat Vikas Parishad – that illuminated their path on this enlightening expedition. 

On the day of the competition, participants faced a barrage of 100 questions presented through a Google Form. With a mere half-hour on the clock, they put their acquired knowledge to the ultimate test. Each question was akin to a puzzle piece, contributing to a comprehensive image of India’s multifaceted culture, history, and geography. 

In hindsight, ‘Bharat ko Jano’ emerges as more than just an event; it stands as a poignant reminder of India’s opulence and the significance of understanding one’s origins. The competition illuminated the notion that acquainting oneself with the country’s history is akin to a captivating escapade, one that binds the past, present, and future into an intricate tapestry.
