IB DIPLOMA PROGRAMME – Grade XI & XII

Vishwashanti Gurukul is an authorized school since 2006 for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB-DP) for students between 16 -19 years. Having nurtured several leaders and enabled students to find placements in some of the best universities globally, our aim is to provide the best possible environment conducive to intellectual and overall growth. With the help of IB trained, experienced and highly qualified teachers, this Diploma Programme facilitates the making of well-rounded individuals by:

Subject Choice

The three core elements:

Theory of Knowledge

Students reflect on the nature of knowledge and on how we know what we claim to know.

The Extended Essay

An independent, self-directed piece of research, finishing with a 4,000-word paper.

Creativity(C) Activity(A) Service(S)

Students complete a project related to those three(CAS) concepts.

Please discuss these options with your parents and deposit the form at the IBDP Coordinator’s office. In addition to the above subjects, all students wishing to be eligible for the IB Diploma must complete the Core Requirements Theory of Knowledge (TOK), complete an Extended Essay (EE) and all CAS requirements.
