Creative Hearts
The Visual Arts Club
The Visual Arts Club is a place if you want to explore art making and unleash your creativity. From colors to clay…the experience of creating is satisfying and opens up new avenues of enrichment and expression. The objective of the Creative Hearts Club is to provide an extracurricular activity for those students who enjoy and/or excel in the visual arts area and are seeking a creative outlet in addition to their academic schedule. We have planned activities like drawing, painting, clay-modeling, collage, etc. Also when school functions in-person, students get creatively and actively involved in the process of creating artworks, backdrops, etc. for various in-school cultural functions, which gives the students opportunity to work in groups. In addition, the club will also provide guidance for preparing the students for participating in Government of Maharashtra’s drawing grade elementary and intermediate exams (not applicable this year due to pandemic) and guide the students to compile a portfolio for university application in the field of art and design. They will also be provided with guidance and information about participating in various art related competitions.
The artworks will be showcased on our website as a culmination of the club activity. (The culmination of the club activity will be an exhibition when the school functions in-person).
When the school is functioning online, the material will have to be procured by the students. The requirements will be discussed before initiating the activity.
