On the 28th and 30th of June, the auditorium of MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul World School resonated with curiosity, purpose, and community spirit as we hosted the School Orientation sessions for both new and returning parents. The orientation served as an essential bridge between the school and families, offering a comprehensive overview of the school vision, structure, and expectations.
The session on 28th June welcomed new parents, focusing on the core elements of the curriculum— Assessment practices, and the development of Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills, equipping them to better support their children as they embark on this rigorous academic journey. The 30th June session catered to returning parents, providing academic updates, internal assessment timelines, and strategies for guiding students through the final and crucial phase of the programme. Both sessions featured insightful presentations by DP Coordinators and subject facilitators, culminating in interactive Q&A segments that allowed for open dialogue and deeper understanding.
Address by the head of the school: Mr. Arpit Sharma, Head of School, emphasized the importance of goal-setting, sincerity, discipline, and academic honesty. He encouraged students to define clear shortand long-term goals aligned with the IB mission, underscoring the importance of focus and perseverance in both academic and personal spheres. The orientation reaffirmed the school’s commitment to fostering a transparent, supportive, and student-centered environment that promotes holistic development and international-mindedness. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the parents for their active participation and ongoing support in shaping the globally aware, reflective learners of tomorrow
