As part of our commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and informed school environment, MIT Vishwashanti World School recently hosted an enlightening and impactful session on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The session was conducted by Ms. Kirti Dini, the Training Coordinator and Facilitator from Muskaan, an organization dedicated to child safety and empowerment.
The session was interactive and thought-provoking, allowing staff members to ask questions and engage in discussions that clarified the scope and application of the law. It was a vital step in equipping our educators with the tools to act responsibly and sensitively in the best interest of our students.
A highlight of the session was a powerful skit performed by our own teachers. The skit depicted real-life scenarios that educators might encounter, emphasizing the importance of awareness, timely intervention, and support for children. The performance not only reinforced the key messages of the session but also reflected the dedication of our teachers to child safety. We thank Ms. Kirti Dini and Muskaan for their invaluable contribution and for empowering our staff with knowledge that extends beyond the classroom.
