Community activity & learning are an integral part of Vishwashanti Gurukul as we believe in creating responsible, compassionate and ethical global citizens.

Some of the highlights from 2018 include:

World Youth Skills Day celebration:

Grade 11 and 12 students presented a short skit and dance to highlight the value of this day and what the UN aims to achieve by informing people about its significance.

Graffiti Workshop:

Conducted by a Mumbai based Graffiti expert, this creative session was an enthralling experience for IBDP 1 and 2 students.

Anti- Bullying Awareness :

A flash mob presented by Grade 12 students where Social Bullying was addressed along with its effects and consequences. Students also made awareness posters and took additional initiatives to prevent these practices.

Adventure & Fun day out :

Girls of grades 9 to 12 were taken for a day trip to Della Adventures amusement park in Lonavala .The adventure park provided exciting activities and a break from the routine along with the chance to bond with different batches and teachers.

Indian International Model United Nations Conference :

A delegation of 13 students from Vishwashanti Gurukul went to Mumbai for a 4 day conference by UN with 3500 global delegates. Informative & challenging, this helped the students to broaden their thinking perspective and international mindedness in all ways.

Practical training on saving lives:

The Red Cross Pune District branch demonstrated how to perform CPR, gave first aid training and provided very helpful advice on crisis management to the students. A great session which provided real medical insights with a very practical approach, this experiential based learning was intended to prepare the students for emergency situations.

Kerala Flood Relief drive:

Gurukulians contributed towards the donation for the flood kit,provided by an NGO called Habitat for Humanity. Grade 11 & 12 students took initiatives to create awareness and encourage the feeling of empathy ,compassion & humanity.

Bastille Day Celebration:

IBDP-2 students organised a small carnival for the students of grades 6-12 to celebrate French National Day.Through activities, games, snacks and souvenirs, they highlighted the French culture and created awareness about its contributions to the world.
