111th ISRO Space Exhibition

The 111th ISRO Space Exhibition, hosted by the Indo Science Education Trust, Samvit, and Vishwashanti Gurukul World School, commenced with a fervent invocation of peace and unity. Priya Dsouza and Deepika Kagliwal extended a warm welcome to esteemed guests and attendees, emphasizing the event’s significance in promoting scientific awareness and collaboration.

The 111th ISRO Space Exhibition, hosted by the Indo Science Education Trust, Samvit, and Vishwashanti Gurukul World School, commenced with a fervent invocation of peace and unity. Priya Dsouza and Deepika Kagliwal extended a warm welcome to esteemed guests and attendees, emphasizing the event’s significance in promoting scientific awareness and collaboration.

The program began with a universal World Peace Prayer, symbolizing the ethos of harmony and unity. This was followed by the lighting of the lamp, a symbolic gesture signifying the eradication of darkness and enlightenment within and without. Esteemed guests, including Dr. Sudheer Kumar, Dr. Arvind Shaligram, Dr. Vishnu B Lal, Dr. A K Sinha, and others, participated in the lamp lighting ceremony, marking the auspicious beginning of the event.

The atmosphere was further enriched by a traditional Ganesh Vandana, a dance performance by Kristina Sabarne and Shreya Katariya of DP 1, invoking blessings for the success of the event. Subsequently, a felicitation ceremony honoured the distinguished guests for their significant contributions to space science and education. Inspirational speeches by Dr. Arvind Shaligram, Dr. A K Sinha, Mr. Vishnu B Lal, Mrs. Nivedita Madkikar, Mr. Satish Rao, Mr. Santosh Pise, and Dr. Sudheer Kumar N highlighted their profound impact on space technology and education.

The event also included the presentation of awards, recognizing the Indo Science Education Trust’s notable achievements and contributions to science education. Notable among these awards was the Sohrab Godrej Science and Technology Award, acknowledging the trust’s commitment to advancing scientific curiosity among students.

A highlight of the exhibition was the demo presentation of WEMOSAT by Mr. Satish Rao and Mr. Santosh Pise. This demonstration showcased cutting-edge advancements in space technology, providing attendees with a glimpse into the future of space exploration.

In conclusion, the 111th ISRO Space Exhibition served as a platform for collaboration, learning, and inspiration. Through insightful speeches, demonstrations, and acknowledgments, the event reinforced the importance of scientific curiosity and collaboration in advancing space exploration and education.
