The UPO was abuzz with activities over the weekend to help students prepare better for colleges. Here’s a glimpse of the activities that were organized in July 2021
1. IBDP Orientation for grade 11 students:-
Knowledge is like a garden; if it is not cultivated, it cannot be harvested. With this vision the University Placement Office of MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul started the new session 2021 -22 with an orientation program held for DP-1 students on 9th July. The students were introduced to the University Placements Office and its role in their IBDP journey. We understand that IBDP is the base which paves the pathway for the future career and some right decisions made at the right time can make this journey easier. We organized a subject orientation for the DP-1 students to give them a better understanding of the subjects and to careers that they lead to.
2. Career Aptitude Test & Subject Choice Counselling:-
To have a better understanding of career inclination of a student we conducted a Career Aptitude Test for our DP-1 students so that we can determine the interest level of the student towards different careers and accordingly help them in their subject choices. We also held one to one counselling sessions with the students to advise them about their subject choices and other doubts that they had regarding IBDP.
3. Interaction with Gurukul Arts Students:-
School organized an interactive session with some of our previous arts students and our current DP students on 8th July. The alumni’s discussed their transition from school to college and careers in Arts related field.
4. University Sessions:-
