UNESCO Club

We are happy to inform you that the school has got official confirmation from the Secretary General of CUCAI of forming a UNESCO Club at VGS. The CAS coordinator will be heading the club along with a few selected teachers and students, who will be playing an active role to plan, execute and work on projects that are aligned with UNESCO ASPnet schools. We are on a mission to get the membership the same which will come through only with the completion of projects that will make a difference in society. The theme that we will be focusing on as a school is ‘Education for sustainable development.

While we are in the process of creating a logo, motto, mission, and vision of the club, we have already started highlighting the significant days announced by the UN. We celebrated the following in October, always keeping the focus on the connections to SDG.

– Beach clean drive @ Andaman and Nicobar Islands as a part of CAS.
