CONFAB 2020
The Department of Humanities at Vishwashanti Gurukul World School organized CONFAB 2020 – An Inter-house debate on the contemporary National/International issues for the Gurukul student community on 28 February 2020. The debate was conducted in two rounds- a written elimination round for all students followed by the Final debate. The event witnessed unprecedented enthusiasm and energy from the participants and audiences alike. The debaters manifested very impressive knowledge which was a result of their deep and dedicated research on the assigned issue. The audience cheered and supported their houses in a never before style of exemplary elegance and discipline. The participants also reflected profound passion, charismatic communication and wonderful body language.
The panel of Judges comprised two gurukul parents- Ms Shalini Pabreja and Ms Jharna Thakurani and the Diploma Programme Coordinator of the school, Ms Evelynn Sheen Singh. All the judges appreciated the endeavour and energy reflected by the participants and audiences. The event culminated with awards for Best debater, most knowledgeable debater, best communicator, most principled debater and most reflective debater.
