WELCOME TO GURUKUL BOARDING.

MIT Pune’s Vishwashanti Gurukul Boarding fosters tender care and smart grooming to all the boarders under its wings. We believe that the students have the potential to excel in any chosen field; they only need a jumpstart to do so and our boarding is designed just for the same. We make an utmost attempt to bring out a fine young adult from the little child we receive. In cognizance with Guru Shishya Parampara, the seasoned boarding staff delivers pastoral care while imbibing the right virtues, morals and ethics in the students which makes them ready to take on life beyond the school premises.

Our boarding team comprises of members from different parts of the country, celebrate different culture, and speak different languages which creates a rich and diverse environment. Our team’s major role is to develop a close relationship between the boarders, their parents and the academic team so that every child feels that they are in ‘A HOME AWAY FROM HOME’.

Mobin B
(Boarding Coordinator)

Established in 2006, boarding at Vishwashanti Gurukul believes in giving value-based education to the children. This is a home for more than 300 boarding students along with other boarding staff. Our community believes in fostering Indian values and culture in a global context. We wish every child appreciates that living in boarding is really a unique achievement and lifelong learning.

Our boarding team is committed and responsible for monitoring the boarders’ development in every field. Daily prayers help the students seek blessings from the Almighty thus taking them through the day with confidence and poise. Weekend activities take a very significant seat in the boarding, which keep the students constructively and creatively engaged.

We encourage our children to become:

  • Responsible and self-disciplined individuals
  • Good listeners and communicators
  • Caring and supportive towards other members of the community
  • A leader who inspire others

All the students in the boarding are under the overall care of the Boarding Coordinator along with the House Master / Mistress and the House Parents.
