An enthusiastic group of 21 students of various age groups has arrived @ Vishwashanti Gurukul for a Winter Camp from 3rd January   to the 22nd February 2012.

This winter camp comprises of classroom learning, sports, Art & design, sightseeing in and around Pune(knowing India ) & community service.

The traditional welcome with the Aarti, Tilak and the applaud of the Gurukulian children thrilled the guests. They were highly impressed by the Ganesh  vandana by the PYP students, which was an apt way of introducing them to our culture. Mr. Shawn and Ms Jenny were touched by the warm welcome of the Gurukulians.

The Winter Camp Children attended a short Orientation Programme by Ms. Shreya Ghosh and Ms. Priya D’Souza the teachers who are going the lead the camp. In order to make them feel at home the children were taken around the school by the other team members Mr. Sangamesh, Mr. Sahotra Paul. and Ms. Savita Rabade. The students got geared up once they were issued uniforms and the necessary accessories. This interaction is surely going to help them develop their International mindedness among the students.
