One more feather in Seul Ki’s Cap
Seul Ki Jung has been awarded with a scholarship for an International Summer School in London. The University of Arts London, UK had organized a competition for the students wherein they could exhibit their art & win a scholarship for an International Summer School in London. The theme was to create a work which encapsulates the intrinsic qualities of India. It is envisaged that works will include a wide range of interpretations, from the most clearly defined imagery to the symbolic. Seul Ki had sent her picture through Edwise International, Mumbai for the competition. The judges’ panel consisted of Professor Jimmy Choo OBE, Colin Kerrigan (University of the Arts London) and selected Indian Art teachers. Seul Ki is among the privileged three winners who will be receiving complimentary places on University of the Arts London’s Annual International Summer School 2012 (including accommodation). Her Art Teacher Mrs. Nanda Kathale was overwhelmed with joy and said that “This is an icing on the cake! Seul Ki’s passion, creativity and perseverance are seen in every single work of art that she creates.”
