Middle school service programme

A1 A2

“Apang Kalyankari Sanstha” was the destination for the second visit of the Middle school service programme. This time on 8th October2011, 47 students along with 3 teachers visited the organization. The different units of the organization were shown and explained by the physiotherapist of the institute.

This Sanstha has 254 residential students from all over the country who are physically challenged, but are actually much more independent and confident than any of us who are so called to be physically fit. These children are a motivational factor for our students, their zeal to work on their own and active participation in co-curricular activities like art, music and sports also inspired our students to become self reliant. Gurukulian developed a felling of sharing and giving what they have, they realized that they can be a medium to bring some changes in the other sections of the society.  The watery eyes of our students itself revealed that their souls are touched by those children and number of our students took oath of supporting and starting such organization for the welfare of society as they grow up.

This visit fulfilled the motive of Gurukul as we can see some changes, motivation and determination among the students towards the nation. And their spirit of becoming a better citizen of India inspires us for the continuation of such service programmes in future.
