Vishwashanti Gurukul IB World School at Loni Kalbhor Pune Celebrates its Annual Day on the 4th February 2012 at the School Amphitheatre. Our Speakers and the guests Smt. & Dr. Prof. Vishwanath Karad (Founder Executive President and Managing Truste) MAEER’s MIT, Pune and Dr. Sunil Karad – (Executive Director) MAEER’s MIT, Vishwashanti Gurukul, Loni,Pune presided over the ceremony.

Mr. Venugopal the Principal and co-ordinator IGCSE & IBDP appreciated the social work conducted by the students at the school with the help of ‘Prayas’ and ‘Sparsh’. The regular visits to the NGO’s and the realization of the students of being of some help to the society is the first step, which is as indication of the seed being sown in their heart of the social work.

The theme of the Programme“National Integration” was put up with great ardor and fervor. All the teachers and students put in their Hearts and Souls to make the programme a great success. According to the Indian tradition the show began with Ganesh Vandana, followed by a play on Lord Ram, an English play “My Fair Lady”, a dance on National Integration, a Hindi play “Freestyle Gawahi”, a dance on Sri Krishna, a Fusion Dance, Musical Symphony and a Korean fan dance by Indian and Korean students was in true spirit an evidence of internationalism.

As the custom of the School, the students who have excelled in Academics by topping the world in various subjects and sports were felicitated by the founder Dr. Prof. Vishwanath Karad in the presence of their parents and their near and dear ones. Alumuni students along with their parents and friends were also present at the function.

Dr.Prof. Vishwanath Karad, addressed the gathering and spoke about the significance of ‘Om’ which is considered to be the symbol of energy in the universe. “‘OM = mc2’ means it is equivalent to the energy transmitted to the engine and the young generation of India is responsible to transmit this energy globally”.

All in all it was an excellent show which spoke for itself about the hard work of the teachers and the talents of the students put in the show to make it successful.
