Lord Ganesha is widely worshipped as the god of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune and traditionally invoked at the beginning of any new venture or at the start of travel.

Lord Ganesha was welcomed on the campus by all the Gurukulians and was worshipped for five days, with musical aarti and delicious prasad. It was a great celebration for the students where they showcased their talents in the presence of Ganesha. The Korean students were thrilled to be part of the celebration and happy to know about the elephant headed God.
After the short stay, as it is the custom our beloved Ganesha is immersed in the river after a procession in Rajbaugh, where the whole Gurukulian family participated and a loud cheering of ‘Ganapati bappa morya, pudhachya varshi lavkar ya’ was heard as they took leave of their Beloved Ganesha and they all returned with a great hope of welcoming Lord Ganesha the next year.
