On behalf of the management and staff of Vishwashanti Gurukul, I welcome the present and prospective parents and students of Vishwashanti Gurukul, an IB World School.

MIT group of Institutes, with more than 63 institutions under its auspices, is an established name in the field of education in India and abroad. Considering the impact of the fast growing concept of Global Village, we realized that intercultural and trans-continental interaction and awareness need to be introduced at the basic early school years to gain a fruitful effect. Also, a severe change was required in the methodology of imparting education – a change that would aspire at enhancing the inquisitive nature of the child and knowledge could be received on satiating the queries.

This led us to establishing the Vishwashanti Gurukul, an IB World School based on the Guru Shishya Parampara, retaining the Indian culture and values combined with most modern teaching methodologies prescribed by the IBO.

Taking the utmost advantage of the recent technological developments, we have IBM - the world leader to provide VOIP facility  to provide the campus management system. Educational ERP system by Pacsoft will be the first of its kind in Pune. All this complemented with the vast area with state of art infrastructure proves to be an ideal atmosphere to study.

Anand Deodhar has been associated with the MIT Group since July 2000. He has completed his M.Sc. in Electronics and is also a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) since 1999. He has a teaching experience of around 6 years and industry exposure of around 5 years. He will be handling the responsibilities of being an Director & Head Of School.

I am a Post Graduate in Statistics with Specialization in Demography (Population Studies) & Econometrics. I am currently holding the responsibility of “IGCSE / IBDP Coordinator & Principal Secondary”. After having taught Statistics for Graduates & Post Graduates for number of years earlier,
I am currently teaching Secondary School Mathematics with an overall experience for more than a decade.

Secured University 1st Rank in the entrance examination for Post Graduation in Statistics conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. I believe that “The only place where Success comes before Work is a Dictionary” & intend to implant the same in my students mind.

As a PYP Coordinator and Principal, Mrs. Rama is there to guide and implement the PYP Programme right form the inception of the school. She makes sure that the Curriculum is executed as per the standards and practices of IBO and incorporates all aspects of the Primary Years programme (PYP). The programme works to develop the whole child and builds within students the passion for learning. She feels that the children are the ambassadors of the programme. Teaching, learning and sharing are her passions, with over 19 years of association with the MAEER'S MIT group, she believes in nurturing the young children with love and care.

Mrs. Rama, has undergone the various workshops conducted by IB Asia Pacific Region and has attended the IB Conference to groom her team members to deliver the best to the budding learners. She is very fortunate to be selected and trained by IBO for IB Asia Pacific, PYP School Visiting Team Member/Leader Training. Mrs. Rama has worked with IBO for "Believe in India" project in June 2010. She is an active member in coordinating PYP Pune, IB school networking. Gregarious, Rama has forte in team building and achieving desired school growth.
