* Dr. Sunil K. Karad - Executive Director

Dr. Sunil Karad, Executive Director, MIT’s Vishwashanti Gurukul, an IB World School, has been an intellectual person right from his academic years. Having completed his degree in Polymer Engg, he proceeded to the University of Sheffield, UK to pursue Masters in Engineering Sciences and then the Ph.D.

He was also invited to the University of Sheffield as a Post Doctoral Research Associate for the Materials Engg Dept for a period of two years. He started with establishing an Engineering College in Alandi, a well known pilgrimage centre in Pune. It was his vision for the future that compelled him to established the MIT College of Insurance, MIT School of Distance Education, MIT School of Energy Efficiency and now the Vishwashanti Gurukul – an IB World School and the MIT Institute of Design.
